been some time since my last post, and my last post was abt my fried rice.
so nice... so nice that i did the dish another 2 times! whee... last sat dinner, and sun breakfast! hahaha..
good good, gives me chance to keep improvising and improving every time i cook it..

my results for the sem are out.. and true to my expectations, i did alright, alright in the ssense that i passed all and will not have to repeat the 5+00p1d courses, i'd die if i have to do another sem of earth sciences or sustainable development. i didnt do very well, thats alright, this sem was much tougher than the last. so, i say to myself; k la, not too bad. i was the 1st of the whole lot of the unilodge gang to get my results back, and i really really weally wish them all the bestest for their results, most of all to G, i would really want for her to do well... dont frown so much dear.. emoticon(patpat)

we fly to NZ tmr! whee.. all packed and not ready to leave.... tsk.
hope the hols are worth the cash spent and the time spent. stupid uni sem making us so downcast and moody. WARGH.

ok, i shall be back in 2-3 weeks time to update this blog and fill it with many many pretty pretty nice nice pictures... until then, bye blog, bye fans and dedicated readers!

Heeeeeeeeeyah!


this unworthy one is unashamedly proud to be presenting latest cuisine prepared!
yapanese rice! mixed with drieeeeed chinese mushrooms! and dried small shrimps, or also called haeeeeeeeeeeeee bi! placed into rice cooker, and left to cook!
next step is to take out and fry on pan! add eggs! beaten! Huah!
and then add special xo sauce! not alcoholic one, the dried scallop one! Wahah!

then fry and fry and fry! until dry! until looks like this!



next, is meat! bought from chinaaaaaaaaaatown! roast duck, half! chopped! Huah!
and char siew! mmmmmmmmmmmm.....



that, was yesterday dinner! best ever done by most honourable one!

today, i tried my hand at making the italian pasta dish, Aglio Olio (pronounced agh-lio oh-lio). many many italian restaurants serve this wonderful noodle (or pasta) dish, but all cooked differently and unique according to the chef's choice. basic ingredients include spaghetti(correct spelling?), olive oil, thinly sliced garlic, and chopped basil leaves. other common ingredients include some parsley, mushrooms (most commonly used are of the shiitake kind, few use button). meat lovers like those cooked with some diced bacon or ham, others like theirs with seafood.

i like all kinds of aglio olio, bacom n mushrooms, seafood or plain basil a.o.
=)

and so , since i have time to whip up some more-fancy meals for dinner, i decided to try my hand at one of my favourite italian dishes. i didnt get bacon, mushrooms or scallops or mussels. just plain aglio olio with prawns.

and it turned out fine! whee.. although i used a tad too much olive oil, but otherwise, it turned to be *muack* magnifico!



as they say, practice makes perfect, so i shall continue to improve on this dish of mine until i can be on par with the restaurant standard, and maybe even improvise on it too.. hmmhmmhmm.....

anyway, i shall congratulate myself! managed to complete a game last night (or rather this morning), Marvel Ultimate Alliance. yes yes, i know, i can hear the yawns from the girls out there, k fine, i shall not harp on the subject..

by the way, just managed to see the second trailer released for Spider-man 3, and i have to say, i cant wait to watch the 3rd one thats to be released in less than a week's time.. the cg was simply amazing..

a battle between Spider-man and Sandman had Spidey slamming sand's face into the side on an oncoming train, the sand was flying away from the comtinued impact of the train but sand's face was still half-there-half-disintegrated,



the symbiote suit was fully detailed and explored completely, depicted as a organic, host-hungering entity, latching onto and enveloping Spider-man slowly but maliciously, and its extreme unwillingness of being seperated from its host.





director Sam Raimi deserves a thumbs up for capturing the essence of the symbiote so aptly, but a "told-you-so" when he finally agreed to cast venom in as a character after so vehemently rejecting th eidea initially. kudos to Marvel studio god Avi Arad for managing to persuade sam to listen to the fans.

k, from what i can see, the usual cast returns, Peter Parker aka Spider-man, Mary Jane Watson, Aunt May, James Jonah Johnson as the boss with the attitude we would flip the middle finger at if he was ours, and this time, Harry Osborne puts on his dad's mantle and becomes some version of the green goblin. new characters include Flint Marko aka Sandman, Gwen Stacy as a new love interest, and last but not the least, Eddie Brock aka Venom.

Sam Raimi's latest installment certainly deserves the attention and commendment of the fans, and hopefully, with a new outlook and origin of the villians, will be able to not keep non-fans in the dark.

Whee! Yay! finally, the exams are over! not that i studied till another patch of my hair turned white but stilL! no more gloomy loomy days! whee.... though i came out brain dead by the time the paper finished... so zombied....

today is the day i embark on my mission to chiong finish all the games i've installed in my com and which are taking up too much space. therefore, to save space, i shall finish them asap. hmmm, actually ah. mayb not all la, later i nothing left then itchy hand go download more. lol.

Well well well, it seems that this blog hasnt gotten deleted from neglection...

Ladies and germs, yes, it seems that after a year and more of realising that i even had a blog in the 1st place, the missus reminded me of it and i have finally decided to return to it.

...have a backache now. really achy achy one, at the lower back. wth, i tried stretching and cracking it but nothing happens. no 'qiak' or popping of bubbles in my spinal column. chey, not shiok one. sitting straight seems to help 1 little though.

ok, what was it i wanted to say?


ah.

Who wants to know what has happened since my last post? anybody? aha, u, the man in the pink jacket in the crowd, i see u have your hand up. yes? no? oh, i see, u were airing your sweaty armpits. well, thank you for your honesty, but i think we can all smell it from here.

ok, i'll rant anyway. i have finally cast off my status as a man-servant to the army, got myself out of the country and landed in Brisbane for my studies! wee. no more enduring crap from superiors, giving face or putting up with 1. irritating bengs, 2. irritating mahds, 3. irritating yuandehpoonenahs, from my camp. ah.. liberation. but that meant no more slacking, pushing work to my understudy terence or using my boss's status to buffer shit i get. ah well, u get some u lose some.

anyway, yes! its finally back to books and more books. managed to get myself into Griffith university, to study env sci. more apt was that my campus was located in the middle of a forest. convenient huh? the place's great, teachers are great, apart from the smelly never bath or wash hair since to dawn of time folks who walk past u once in a while, its not too bad. in my 2nd sem now! ending too! last exam paper tmr! havent studied for it! not doing anything abt it! upon reflection think i should slap myself for it! but what the hey, im not expecting much for this sem, the courses are good, dun get me wrong, but i just dun think its worth it to mug that hard for this sem, dunno why. something deep down in me, somewhere deep deep down, something black in my pure innocent heart is resenting this sem's courses. ok, fine, i lied, i like the courses. OK FINE, i lied abt the pure innocent part.

the missus? she's great, the most fun and enjoyable person i'd ever want to be next to me.. =)
she's here for her last sem already, and her last papaer in on upcoming tues.. she's not too confident abt her last papers but im really sure she'll do fine..

wtf what did i just press on the keyboard! it went to another tab on my firefox window, i almost thought i closed the blogger tab! KNNBCCBPBMF.

i'll die and delete the blog if that ever happens. no way am i going to rewrite everything i wrote b4, wheres the fun in that?

hmmhmm, oh, i had my 21st birthday in bris too! my neighbours (i'll get to them in a while) got my a nice pair of shades, kinda like those that helicoptor pilots wear.. nice though! but, i cant wear them unless i m using contacts. which is a bad idea in the dry atmosphere of aus. damn. oh, and my room carpet had a nice dessert of chocolate cake cos someone had to try and smear the cake on my face and ended flinging and stepping all over it in my room. no hard feelings though, but the carpet was almost urgh.

what else ah.

oh ya, neighbours. k la, they..... live near me loh. duh, a few singaporeans, my missus Gewi, my bro Alex, Dorotee and Ah mabu Zan. Doro Zan and my missus arrived on the same sem, and Alex came a month ago! whee.. nice bunch... plus the others frm the other parts of asia..

ok, what i've missed so far in sg cos i'm here since this sem started..

( i couldnt even renew my membership can, i only come back 4 months total in a year, membership lan ah...)

my internet connection.

it'll be a month and a week or so till i get back to enjoy a 3-month long holiday whee! going travelling around aussie with the missus, doro and sam! nz, mel, syd! yay.... then coming back to relac and enjoy... some classmated from my course dropping by in sg after their borneo trip, nick, sandra, ko, hiro, so hope to show them arnd sg!

ok, this blog will be updated daily frequently whenever i can!
going back to comtemplate whether or not to study for tmr's paper.
